Last Church - Sharing about PNG

 

We enjoyed sharing at one more church in NY, a blessing to us as they prayed for Naomi when she was first diagnosed with a possible NCM condition. They prayed the spots in her brain would go away. And God answered that prayer! 😊 We are so thankful!

We are all excited that we get to go back to PNG very very soon!

Sharing about PNG and Ice Sculptures - all in one day!

 

Ready to speak at church about Papua New Guinea!

We were thankful to have the opportunity to share at this church in Lenox, MA about what God is doing in PNG!

Our friends treated us to lunch afterwards, yum!

And on the way home, we drove through Stockbridge, where Jacob and I went for lunch on Valentine's day... and there were a lot of ice sculptures to see. :)

I LOVE this frame!! Very impressive work!

This is where I worked as a baker at 21 years old... and where Jacob and I ate for Valentine's Day. :)

Snow Day Shopping

 

After 57 degree F the day before, this was unexpected but beautiful!

I had fun driving in the snow... because this is what MA people do when it snows, life goes on!

And Naomi and I went shopping for a few things to take to PNG... she was very excited to find her 1st purse at the Goodwill!

Preparing for Return to PNG

 

We have confirmation of tickets so now we can begin the last of our supply buying and packing.... here we are just coming out of the shoe store with shoes for summer and sneakers... some for the next three sizes for the kids!

Bye, bye stroller and car seat! Naomi is getting big! Don't need these on the next flights!

Our collection of suitcases as now grown to 8... now all we have to do is pack them! :)

The packing begins.... 1st box that will go on a container by sea to PNG!

Norman Rockwell Field Trip

 

Over the last few months we learned about Norman Rockwell, a great illustrator and painter! He actually lived near our apartment here in MA and there is a muesum just 15 minutes away! So we enjoyed learning more about him there... a fun school field trip!

I worked at the Red Lion Inn which is in the far-right side of this picture. I was a baker there for 6 months when I was 21 years old!

Fun Visits!

 

We loved getting to chance to visit our friends, Ken and Kathy! Every time we get to see them in MA there is a major change to our family... married... 1 baby... 2 babies... and now 2 elementary age children! Time goes fast! And we so appreciate their love and support and encouragement!

This game of Jenga at Ken and Kathy's house was intense!

As Parents, we are starting to learn that you never know what ideas will pop into your kids head. The Family is a great place to practice loving people for who God made them to be and not who you want them to be. (Jacob wants to win, Jonathan is more concerned about having fun.)
