Homeschool Fun & Field Trip

Naomi loves to paint!

Jonathan's Reading Activity... which is very good info to learn!

"Whoa, Dad! I can't believe all these words have more than one meaning and spelling!

Field Trip... a new fun idea for homeschool! Naomi and Jonathan were excited!

We drove about an hour and a half to a village where Tracey lives... she has been staying in the guesthouse for the last 3 months due to unrest in her area. But now she gets to go back home! And we got to drop her off! It was a fun adventure!

Jonathan enjoyed helping Jacob take the boards off of Tracey's windows so she could start cleaning and unpacking her house.

Getting the generator up and running.

Donuts, Chocolate & Alan

Jacob decided to make us donuts one Saturday night... made with oat flour, rice flour, pumpkin and coconut sugar... yum!! Normally Jacob makes us waffles and sausage every Saturday night before campfire, but this time we got donuts!!

"Uncle" Nate was away on break in the capital city for a while and we were all happy to have him back, especially the kids, so they could use him as a jungle gym.😀

While Nate was gone we took care of his dog Alan. I am happy that Naomi and Jonathan are not afraid of Alan and enjoy petting him.

When I was a child, I was very afraid of dogs... so I am quite happy that after 40 years, I am no longer afraid of dogs and actually take Alan for runs now. 😄

You must look at what is in Jonathan's hand that is making him so happy... chocolate from Nate! And the best kind.... no sugar chocolate. Yum!

Miss Tracey & Guesthouse Fun!

Miss Tracey was an answer to prayer! Although she would have much rather stayed in her village doing her ministry, she had to come out due to unrest in her area. But she was a HUGE help at the guesthouse! We had to homeschool Jonathan and Naomi and run the guesthouse, so Tracey was able to help out around the guesthouse in many ways while she waited to go back into her village.

She gave the kids a little drone toy that flew around and they love it!

The kids couldn't believe that Dad knew how to swing! 😊

Blowing bubbles with new friends.

We enjoyed getting a house ready for our friends returning from America... they had to quarantine for 2 weeks before they can go back into their village, so we had a little fun leaving them some things to do and a few jokes. 😊

Naomi enjoys going to the store to buy things for our quarantine friends or for the guesthouse.
