Christmas/Birthday packages arrived!!!

We weren't sure if these two boxes would ever arrive because mail has stopped coming in and out of PNG during COVID-19. But Grandma must have sent them just in time! :)

We couldn't get to America when these arrived via airplane but we were excited for a little of America to come to us! :)

Jonathan even got a lego set which he did in no time at all!

Jacob got a new shirt from my mom that matched a shirt she previously sent to Jonathan! :)

Homeschool continues...

I'm very thankful that Jacob taught Jonathan Math, Science and Social Studies! And just before lunch he also taught Jonathan Art, PE or Music each day. And Naomi loved to join in on the Art class. Jonathan loved being taught by his dad! And the kids loved being able to do some classes together with dad!

Naomi got a backpack and new clothes from Grandma in a package and now she looks like she is ready for school already at 3 1/2 years old!

Naomi has learned A LOT about coloring and color by number especially in the last months while Jonathan was homeschooling.

During recess the kids had snack and learned the art of using straws. :)

We were all very excited when the Elementary library opened up to one family visit at a time!!

Naomi helping Jonathan find things in his homework page.

Jonathan teaching his bear how to brush his teeth. :)

Busy learning about Canada and the computer.

Naomi loves to color for school!

Yumminess!

Uncle Nate has a garden next to the mission store, which he is now managing. Every time we go to the store Naomi asked him if she can pick some tomatoes. She LOVES tomatoes! And she LOVES to give tomatoes to her family and friends!

A delicious new blueberry muffin recipe... the kids devoured them!

 Healthy and delicous pumpkin donuts!

We were able to help Nate and Derrick buy veggies for a lot of different missionaries in the jungle locations. All of these veggies orders were flown in on Kodiak planes or helicopters a day or so later.

We are thankful for God's provisions in taking care of us in this crazy world. We are thankful that He is in control!

Random Important Kid Play

The top two are actually spinning and now he is trying to get the 3rd to spin... such concentration!

"Look Mom! I am wearing the PJs that Jonathan used to wear! Grandma loves Minions! :)"

Hmm... not sure why she is wearing sunglasses at the campfire!

 Climbing and sliding fun!

Jacob fixed up my desk after it ran into an accident in the crates from Wewak to Goroka. And I finally got to organize my desk area after living here for 10 months!!

Guesthouse Busyness!

I am so thankful for these three ladies (Rumbi, Georgie and Fiona) who work at the guesthouse, cleaning, cooking, doing dishes and answering guests questions!

Jonathan is making a Welcome sign for all our guests coming before the repatriation flight. We suddenly had a full house!

Naomi busy helping Dad at work!

 Watching Fiona make rolls!

We fed 25-30 people every meal for 5 days while they waited for their flight.

Naomi and Jonathan love to welcome the children of our guests! Lots of fun times playing!
