Thankful for a Restful Getaway!

We really enjoyed a 5 day rest at this quiet Swiss mission just an hour drive away.

We had a cute little house!

And there were lots of playgrounds and activites for the kids to do just outside! By the way, on the right, is a tree, with a very different looking tree trunk!

The kids loved the toys in the guesthouse too!

We were so thankful that "Uncle" Nate made us 2 meals for our time away so I didn't have to cook! And they were delicious!

The kids LOVED the pool but I only made it in the cold water 1 afternoon!

We enjoyed playing lots of games together!

Jonathan learned to swim without his floaties!

Naomi learned to use her tube without holding onto Dad!

We even got to play miniature golf!

Crochet was a bit confusing for us as a family, but we enjoyed it! 😁

The kids LOVED the zip line!

It was so nice to have a fireplace on those "cold" mornings!

Family Time & Town Trip

We hadn't been off our NTM Centre in a long time, due to Covid, so we were quite excited to do a bit of shopping in town! And the kids were excited to ride in a car! :) I can't wait to see how excited they will be when we ride in an airplane!

I post these two pictures to show you our old rug, on top, and now our new rug, 2nd photo. We got a good deal on a sale in town. Apparently not many people buy rugs in PNG!

There was a shortage of Coke in our NTM store and in town. So when we found Coke in one store, we bought a lot so that we can stock the guesthouse for our guests. :) I think Jacob can't believe all that I ask him to do when I shop. :)

We stopped at a restaurant in town to eat and swim.

Jonathan was amazed at the crazy mirror in the grocery store... and I was amazed at the beautiful avocado I got to eat. :)

Naomi and I just went to the dentist, can you tell that our teeth our shiny clean? :)

School & Play!

After a hard morning of school, Naomi likes to sit down and watch a little Mickey Mouse! :)

Naomi is not scared of bugs... she had fun putting this Muna bug on her finger!

Jonathan loves it when one of his friends lets him borrow their rip stick!

Jonathan is hard at work at 2nd grade with Teacher Dad.

Naomi loves her preschool learning games!
