Random Happenings of July in Nova Scotia!

Hmmm... not sure if I could tell it was July, because we were so cold... so windy!

But we still enjoyed the beach!

Jonathan experienced his first Vacation Bible School, and loved it! It was called Cave Quest.

Although he wasn't sure what to make of everyone putting string all over the Pastor at the end!

All the kids who attended VBS!

 Enjoying visits with supporters!

Steve and Myra, boat builder and retired Fishery business accoutant

Jonathan's first visit to the circus!

There were many amazing things... unfortunately our camera didn't take the best of pictures... but Jonathan's favorite thing to watch was the motorcycles going around and around in a big metal ball!

Enjoyin the Beaches and Light houses with Ope!

The beaches in Nova Scotia are beautiful! But still cold... not sure how people can swim in the water! But I suppose that is because we are used to living in Wewak where the water temp is 90-100 degrees. :)

Jonathan and Jacob were playing, run away from the wave, so they wouldn't get cold feet. :)

Cape Forchu lighthouse... on a typical foggy day in Nova Scotia!

 Peggy's Cove...

Peggy's Cover Lighthouse... we enjoyed the beautiful sunny day!

Celebrating Canada Day with Ope!

We enjoyed watching a typical North American parade on July 1st, the anniversary of the day Canada became a nation!

Jonathan was a bit overwhelmed with all the sights, but thoroughly enjoyed picking up all the candy that everyone threw for the kids. Unfortunately he can only eat once piece of candy a day, so it is taking a long time for him to finish his bag of candy!

Jonathan's first horse ride at the July 1st festivities. :)
