Heading back to MA to a late Christmas!

Once again the snow found us in New Brunswick and Maine but once again we were thankful for God's guidance and protection!

Our car was a tad bit dirty from the long three day drive!

 And it was very cold!

This is a picture that Jonathan took from his window. :)

Jonathan was busy in the car, playing and watching the snow go by.

And he loved the play places when we stopped for lunch!

After lunch he normally slept for a few hours until we made it to the next play place for supper. :)

Weston Christian Fellowship!

We had an opportunity to speak at Weston Christian Fellowship on Dec 27th, so we headed out and stayed with Don and Sharon Benson. We really enjoyed our time with them, getting to know them and speaking at their church!

The Sunday morning that we were scheduled to speak was also around the time that God sent a snow storm. Thankfully we were still able to speak in the morning service as planned! It was a great time to share about what God is doing in the Sepik of Papua New Guinea! And Jonathan got to see his first real life snow man. But he couldn't bring himself to touch the snow, so Jacob and I made the snow man. :)

But Jonathan did like walking through the snow and shoveling the snow. :)

Mr Benson is also a school bus driver so Jonathan enjoyed walking onto his first school bus too!

And pretending to drive too!

Christmas Eve!

Every year the Sears family gets together for Christmas Eve, it is always a good time! There is creamed lobster over mashed potatoes, turkey and all the fixings including pies! We enjoyed the opportunity to be there this Christmas! And Jonathan seemed to enjoy hanging out with his second cousins!

And he loved playing with Uncle Gregory!

Our new home in Nova Scotia

We have enjoyed about 2 weeks in our new apartment in Nova Scotia. It is right next door to Jacob's parents, which is really nice. Jonathan loves to knock on Nannie and Poppie's door to ask if they can play with him. :) We will be back at the end of March for 6 months!

This is our living room, dining room and also our bedroom, as this futon folds down into a bed.

It makes good use of the small space and allows Jonathan to have his own room! So nice!

Here is our office space and kitchen

 I especially like the dishwasher!

Jonathan really likes the large bathtub, especially because there is no shortage of water, so he can have a very deep bath!!

He even had a bath boat toy to play with that Jacob played with when he had his baths many years ago!

Heading North for Christmas!

The weather was pretty warm and there was no sign of snow when we left MA to head to Nova Scotia for Christmas. But once we got to Maine, the snow hit us! It was beautiful! And we were so thankful for God's guidance and protection as we drove!

A little bit of ice stuck on the windshield wiper. :)

 The serious concentrated driver

The very tired passenger slept through most of the storm.

Jacob was excited to see his family again and eat some real mince meat pie when he arrived!

Grandpa or Poppie was happy to read Jonathan stories and play trucks and cars!

Jonathan even got a tour of the lobster fishing boat!

And got to sit in the Captain's seat!

Jacob's parents had been saving a lot of Jacob's old toys so Jonathan had a great time with his father's 30 year old tinker toys, cars and transformers!

Jonathan also got to help his great grandmother or nannie feed an apple to the family horse. :)

We enjoyed a visit with Jacob's sister, Shannon, and her children, Eryn and Sam!
