Trips to Boston...

We were able to see a few doctors in Nova Scotia when we were there for Naomi's "annual" medical checkups. But we were not able to see all the doctors and get the needed MRI.... so we have been making a few trips to Boston Children's Hospital to see Naomi's doctors.

All went well for the MRI and a week later we went back to find out the results from the Neurologist! Two out of the three spots of extra melanin in her brain have disappeared. And there is just a very small part of the 3rd one remaining! The Neurologist in Boston is awaiting the three MRI results from Brisbane to compare and decide on future medical checkups needed. We are excited for this good news!

While in Boston, we had fun! Restaurant meals... museum and a zoo!

We loved the Boston Zoo!

Where is the lion?

Can you see the stretching lion?

The Andeon Condor, we decided they would be great for security, instead of dogs. 😁

This is a HUGE puzzle!!

Paw Patrol the Movie!

Jonathan and Naomi had never been to a movie theatre before... so when we heard their favorite show was making a movie... of course, they wanted to go!

The movie theatre looks  A LOT different then I remember growing up in this area!

It was so very fun to watch them watch the movie! And it was a very fun movie!

Amazing Blessings in MA!

We were quite excited to have a few boxes of books to keep us entertained for our time here in MA. They kids were happy!

Enjoying some Farmer's market produce!

The joy of cleaning mirrors... Jonathan announced that there are 14 mirrors in our house when we arrived!

Enjoying white sweet potato chips, just like Papua New Guinea, for the 1st time in 7 months!

The purchase of the missed sweet potato and a strange discovery, purple cauliflower!

Using our Thermomix for the 1st time to make ice cream... the magic machine, as the kids call it... is a huge blessing when we need to make special flours from rice and chick peas and oats. I'm happy that our friend, Nate, is sharing this magic machine with us! Whoever is in North America gets to use it!

Yum! Strawberry ice cream made from cashews, dates and strawberries!

Playing baseball at the park nearby.

Learning how to do dishes together!

Enjoying the sprinkler at Grandma and Grandpas house!

Starting to feel settled into our home.

Wonderful people from our church brought bikes for the kids to borrow while we are home!
