Heading to the Big City...

We have been to the big city of Halifax about 2.5 hours drive away many times since our arrival in NS. I had to finish up paperwork and medical tests for my Canadian Permanent Residency (WHICH IS NOW COMPLETELY SUBMITTED) and Naomi has to get her "annual" check up, which hasn't been so annual with Covid appointments canceled in Brisbane. So I enjoyed a couple days in the city shopping and taking care of appointments. AND we got to enjoy a fun day as a family when Naomi had her appointment.

Jacob took Jonathan to the Halifax Citadel while Naomi and I were at her doctor's appointment. He was so excited to see  REAL FORT!!

Fast & Easy Chemical Free Cleaning - Norwex Anyone?

 

Naomi and I, enjoy sweeping, mopping and dusting together on Friday mornings when she doesn't have school. We are fast with our new Norwex mop and dusting mitts!

We got rid of all of this under our sink and replaced it with chemical free cloths and mop and mitts that are going to last many many years! They disinfect without harmful chemicals! Check out the photos below... and let me know if you are interested in learning more!

Not only does it clean well, Norwex cleans fast... I DO NOT LIKE cleaning but I enjoy a clean house! NOW I can actually enjoy cleaning too, because it is so fast with amazing results!! And so now I am a Norwex consultant... ask me questions! I love to talk about Norwex and cleaning! 😁

Ooops.... the kids got a little too excited about making their "Poppie" birthday cards... no worries...

They can easily clean it themselves with chemical free, all natural cleaners that work!

Naomi loves to clean, because she can do it all by herself and she sees how clean it becomes!

Back to School!

 

After Covid shut down Jonathan's school in Papua New Guinea in March 2020, we have been homeschooling him... rest of 1st grade and start of 2nd grade.... AND FINALLY ....HE IS SO EXCITED TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL!! And Naomi has never been to school before.... She is also excited to go to school for the first time ever! IN NOVA SCOTIA! And guess who their principal is?? Their Nannie, or Grandma. 😀 They LOVE it!

I was very happy to see a very familiar book series as the theme of Naomi's class... I think it made her feel at home in a strange place!

One day they dressed up for school... Naomi was a PNG woman...

Jonathan was an old man from Nova Scotia.
