Day trip to the Yankee Candle Factory with Ruthie and the boys...

We had a great time touring around the HUGE Yankee Candle Factory! There seemed to be no end to the rooms and rooms of candles and wintry scenes.

There was even a HUGE room of toys and some for the boys to play with right there!

We were thankful to experience winter in Nova Scotia and Massachusetts and now we are thankful for the warm weather here in PNG... or "hot" as Jacob calls it. :)

Ruthie, Jack and Zander, all cozy in the back seat on the way home from Yankee Candle. :)

The Holidays in Massachusetts...

My parents were excited about the wedding picture book that we gave them!

Our nephews, Jack and Zander... always having fun with toys.

Playing Crokinole, a famous Canadian game, on New Year's Eve with my parents! Very fun!!

Curling in Nova Scotia...

Jacob arranged for us to rent a curling rink just a day before we headed back to MA and his brother, Josh and girlfriend, Rebekah, headed back to PA. It was a very fun time together! Rebekah and I had never been curling before so it was quite an experience! Jacob's friends Paul and Dwight also didn't have very much curling experience. A fun time was had by all and then we were off to Tim Horton's. :)

You have to kneel down and push the 40lb stone forward letting go with just the right amount of push to put the stone in the bull's eye. I did get the hang of it after awhile. But it was way to cold for me!!!

Jacob really loves this famous curling sport though! We even got his dad out playing too!
