Last days in Nova Scotia..

We enjoyed a visit from Nick and Elaine our last weekend in Nova Scotia. Jonathan loved playing Game cube with Nick and his Poppie. :)

Nick and Elaine with their dog, Asher... we had a fun visit with them!

 Time to pack the car....

We packed our things to take to MA for the next 5 months, and our things ship to PNG, to use the next three years! We had a very full SUV!!

Jonathan enjoyed helping his dad!

It was just a 45 minute drive to the ferry from our home in Nova Scotia... this was the view as we waited.

And we are off on our journey to Portland, Maine, just a 5 1/2 hour boat ride. Once we got there, we just had a 3 1/2 hour drive to MA where my parents live!

Family times our last weeks in Nova Scotia

Jacob's mom and I, waiting for our delicious dinner to come. :)

Jonathan was quite excited to get an umbrella in his apple juice. :)

Jonathan with his great Nannie and Poppie, it was fun to visit them at their cottage!

Three generations... Jacob with his grandparents, Jonathan with his great grandparents. :)

Jacob's parents... our next door neighbors for 5 months! So good to get to know them better!

Random happenigs of our last weeks in Nova Scotia

Jonathan, Jacob and Poppie (or Jacob's dad) playing Game Cube... a video game that Jacob, his brother and dad used to play when they were kids. :)

Kelly and Jonathan... a supporter that we had a great time connecting with at Tim Hortons. :)

Betty, another supporter, with Jonathan... we enjoyed a short visit in her home.

Tom and Nancy, a couple who also supports us... good to be able to connect with them as well!

Jonathan informed us that these ski googles were his night vision goggles. :)

Packing to head to MA and packing for PNG... Jonathan loved playing in the boxes!

My desk was packed away, so I had to resort to this small kitchen island to do my work on... :)

Talking about Papua New Guinea at Churches!

We continue to speak at churches almost every Sunday, sharing about all that God is doing in the Sepik region of Papua New Guinea and how we get to be a part of in Wewak! It is neat to see how God is opening the eyes of many people in so many areas concerning missions! Jonathan loves to talk about Papua New Guinea too, and can't wait to go back!

Jonathan usually demonstrates the way that men wear their bilem hat and their bilem (string bag) and does a fine job waving his Papua New Guinea flag!

Seeing Sights with Poppie

Sometimes Jonathan gets to go with Poppie (grandpa) for the morning to see all kinds of places!

This is one of Jacob's relatives Fishing Boat.

And of course a new playground is always fun!

Random Happenings of August in Nova Scotia

We visited Jacob, an old friend of my husband, Jacobs... it was fun to meet him and his wife!

Jonathan enjoyed the big city and especially sitting on the motorcycle.

And Jonathan got to go to a play place while I shopped at the local second hand store for summer clothes for the FOUR of us for the next 2-3 years! We are packing up some boxes to send on a container boat to PNG... and we will drop them off soon, as it takes 4-5 months for a ship to makes its way over to PNG!

Trying out our new camera...our nice camera was stolen in the robbery and we were given a old but functioning freebee camera.  We were thankful for it, but now thankful to have the money to buy a better camera... which we wanted to before the baby comes to join our family!

Now, 29 weeks pregnant! Only 11 more to go before we meet our little girl!
