Mother's Day and so many blessings!

Berry Banana Baked Oatmeal... a wonderful new recipe we tried on Mother's Day!

I'm so thankful that I get to be the mom of Jonathan and Naomi!

Pictures on the walls, our home is starting to feel like our home!

In the garage Jacob made a new very bright light for us to be able to see what is in the freezer. I'm also very thankful for our dryer, which I have never had in PNG before!

Our Thermomix just arrived! We use it so often to make so many things from scratch here in PNG, peanut butter, jam, tahini, hummus, fruit sauce, rice flour, oat flour, smoothies and so much more!

Made homemade peanut butter in just a few minutes!

Our storage items have been moved and everything is unpacked so we got out our new rug which came on the container from the US while we were away!

It was exciting to finally be able to get our out our new rug and have our living room set up and comfortable for every day life!

A package from a good friend at home arrived! Thank you Sarah!

Unpacking Chaos and Shopping

We found cheese for Naomi, lactose free!

We discovered a new store! Some gluten free items and fresh apples!

Unpacking and switching furniture continues!

Naomi is excited to have our furniture back! But unhappy to be stuck in the middle of the mess!

Helping Dad bring furniture in!

Moving out furniture...

We have pictures on the wall, progress is being made!

Happy Easter!

Nate made Gluten Free Hot Cross Buns sweetened with Coconut Sugar for us and sent them down from Port Moresby just in time for Easter! Our house was chaotic but we could still remember Christ and all God did for us!

And we also made some apple donuts for Easter morning.

Donuts and hot cross buns are all gone......

Naomi was so excited to decorate the eggs for Easter!

On to our Home in the Highlands of PNG!

Heading from Port Moresby to Goroka... last flight of 50 minutes!

And all our bags arrived! Miracle!!

Found some friendly and familiar stuffed animals at our new house!

We arrived just in time for School Testing! So two days after we arrived we were practicing test taking with Jonathan, getting ready for school testing starting on Monday! He was sick too, as you can tell! But fortunately his cold only lasted for the weekend!

Happy to find favorite books!

Our house was a disaster as we worked at packing up things in the house, moving out furniture in the house and replacing it with our furniture and unpacking our suitcases and boxes and totes in storage.

We were happy to make bread in our bread maker again!

View through our screen window.

We are so thankful for friends! God uses so many people to take care of us, especially in the last few months of packing and traveling and more packing and unpacking.

Playing in the midst of unpacking chaos.

We were thankful for some Sepik friends who came out to the guesthouse apartments. The kids played and played while we packed and unpacked and organized and sorted. 😁

Max and Jonathan, good buddies!

Jacob's four wheeler started up with no problems! First time this happened
upon return from North America. So thankful!

Unloading things from our storage with a trailer that we were given. Funny thing is that Jacob instructed some German interns how to build this trailer at Interface 10 years ago or so! And now it appears again. 😀

The kids have a great place to play right outside our house!

Carrots, unusual carrots!

There was no Peanut butter in town or our mission store that we could eat (everything had sugar in it), so we got to work buying peanuts which are very cheap... peeled, roasted and pureed them into Peanut butter!

Naomi had a nasty cold and cough right after we arrived. She would sit in this chair once we got it out of storage and relax with the diffuser blowing lemon eucalyptus essential oil on her. We are thankful that everyone is healthy now!
