We stopped at Wayumi, a very cool place where people of all ages can learn about what missions is all about! It is also where my parents went through missionary training! And we just happened to be there at the same time as our good friends, Danny and Tammy and family! We worked with them before we were married and after we were married at Interface!!
It is so cool to watch God give us such blessings of meeting such good friends, when we are both busy going in all different directions. God planned our visit for us! God is so full of surprises for his kids!
A few necessities while we were traveling...
A little tour of Wayumi took us to this far away village. 😀
And here is where they hold their youth camps in the summer! The same place that my parents built their jungle camp house when I was 4 years old!
We also got to visit another friend from Wewak, PNG and saw his farm... and so many lamas!
We loved watching them!
Then we were heading south... off to visit Nate Eutsey's mum and take a little tour of his hometown.
A beautiful place!
The kids really liked the pool at the hotel!
And we had a great time eating at Brady's, where Nate cooked delicious food for a few years! Jacob thought about changing careers. But I told him it probably wasn't a good idea. 😂
Then we were off again to camp in our aunt and uncle's backyard in northern PA.
The kids were cozy warm and loved it!
Jonathan is in the blue sleeping bag, all cozy and Naomi gets to sleep in the back of the car!
