The Morning of Naomi's MRI...and following

We attempted to keep Naomi entertained when she woke up at 6:30 pm the morning of her MRI because she couldn't eat or drink anything... and her MRI was at 9:30 am.

The many faces of Naomi... this sad face is understandable, as she is normally a Patriots fan, not a Packers fan! :)

Waiting for Naomi's MRI appointment at the Hospital.

We are were glad there were also lots of toys as we were seen by multiple nurses and staff before the MRI. I was also thankful that I got to go in with Naomi and be with her until she was asleep for the MRI. It went very quickly. And as soon as she was awake I was able to go in and be with her again too. She did very well but was quite upset that we had to wait there 1 hour before we could go and see Dad and Jonathan.

The next two days Naomi had an appointments with the neurologist, ophthalmologist and dermatologist. The neurologist said that the extra melanin spots in her brain have not changed at all, no growth and no multiplication. So all is well. The dermatologist said that all her birthmarks look good with no concerns whatsoever. And the ophthalmologist said her eye sight is very good and there is nothing concerning growing in the back of the eye. We are very very thankful for all the good reports. And she will need to be seen again in 12 months for another checkup.

 More waiting for appointments...
