Life at the Ronald McDonald House

Running with dad while Mom got supper ready... We are so thankful for what the Ronald McDonald House does, it is so wonderful to be able to live across the street from the hospital and have a quiet place to unwind and play with our kids and cook our own meals! And it is nice to be able to chat with others in similar situations.

The dining hall where we ate all our meals.

Jonathan and Naomi have learned to play together even more!

Play time while mom and dad did the dishes after supper

Jacob doing some dishes after a meal... they have a great kitchen with 12 cooking stations. Plus a place for us to put our fridge, freezer, and pantry items. And many shelves, fridge and freezer of free food!

More play time at the Ronald McDonald House

Jonathan met so many new friends at the Ronald McDonald House... lots of families would bring their children down to the dining hall/kitchen area to play while they made a meal. So all the kids would have a great time together!

View from our room looking out into Brisbane.

Naomi, all ready for bed in her cozy PJs.

Bed time stories!

Our room had a lovely chair with a lovely view. :)

I always enjoyed looking out because everything was so quiet in our room yet there was so much happening in the city. This is the opposite of PNG, where we can hear everything that happens in the town around us and it all has an effect on us!
