From Boston back to PNG

A member of our church was very generous. He drove us all the way from Pittsfield to Boston and dropped us off at this hotel. We are so grateful for all our supporters do for us! We have been so blessed by them.

Since we were dropped off, we of course didn't have a vehicle. So we had a nice walk to get supper, we also had a nice walk back to the hotel.

As strange as it sounds, the traffic jam beside us sort of made the walk even more enjoyable. We had spent many hours in the Boston traffic on our way to get to all of Naomi's appointments, that walking faster then the traffic was quite fun!

This building was one of the enjoyable surprises we had on our walk. It kind of looked like someone had forgot to finish the rest of the building.

All done with walking, now onto flying.

Preparing for the trip by researching flying rocket propelled cars...interesting stuff.

Airplane food... It was actually a great piece of salmon! Jacob loved it.

One misadventure... my Patriots sweatshirt was accidently left behind and went missing. So I had to buy a Boston sweatshirt instead. Some people are happy about this.

This was taken as we were leaving the hotel in Boston. We had 7 checked bags but amazingly, it all made it to PNG in great shape with nothing damaged. We were so thankful to be able to bring over so much in our suitcases, as it is hard to get things in PNG and very expensive to send via mail.

We got to fly Qantas this time which is always a treat.

The descending which causes ear discomfort is Jonathan's least favorite part about each flight.

After about 10 hours in an airplane, things can get a little crazy with a ten year old and a 6 year old! Too much tv or too little sleep?

But we had a great layover in LA and found a nice restaurant and enjoyed some yummy food!

The kids especially liked it the Chinese food!

Then back in the airplanes for more flying.

Finally made it back to PNG! And our friends even had a welcome sign up for us! So fun!
