Waiting for the CAT Ferry to arrive! We were quite excited when we heard that the CAT was up and running again! Instead of driving for three days and staying in two hotels along the way, we were able to leave early in the morning from MA to drive to Portland, Maine and arrive late at night in Nova Scotia (just 45 minutes from Jacob's parents home)!!
The CAT ferry is coming in on the left and there was another larger cruise ship docked on the right. Jonathan said, "wow, there are boats on the boat!"
The CAT, departing just 4 hours from my parents home in MA and arriving 45 minute from Jacob's parents in Nova Scotia.
While we waited Jonathan and Jacob watched and ran around. :)
Jonathan was quite excited to find a kids play area on the ferry, with lots of toys!
He thoroughly enjoyed our 6 hour ride... met a new friend and even had a nap on the big bench seats!
Jacob enjoyed the rest and time to work on a couple rubix cubes! He finally solved that little 2x2!
It was so nice to be able to walk around, sleep laying down, eat and enjoy the beauty of the ocean.
