Naomi's Possible Broken Leg - Flying to Goroka again

Waiting at the NTM Hangar... Samaritan Aviation also uses our Hangar. Here they were putting together a new plane that was shipped over on a container.

Well, we couldn't believe it but Naomi tripped and fell on a plastic toy cover while walking in her room. Afterwards she was in a lot of pain and wouldn't walk anymore. So the kids and I flew to Goroka to the NTM Clinic to get an x-ray for Naomi. The x-ray machine at the hospital in Wewak didn't work and actually the hospital was actually closed due to violence.

NTM Kodiak getting refueled to head to Goroka.

Unfortunately, there was bad weather in Goroka, so after circling for a while we had to divert to Madang to get fuel. And we also overnight-ed to wait out the bad weather.

And we were excited to have to stay in Madang because we got to see the Meyer family who used to live next door to us in Wewak for 6 months!! Jonathan and Linda were quite excited to see each other and loved playing together for the short time we were there!

The next morning we waited for the pilots to get the plane ready.

And we arrived around 11 am at the NTM Center and went straight to the Clinic.
