Judith and I prepared some peppers, onions, fajita chicken, hamburgers and salsa for the Sepik Conference.
Ready to make salsa!
The day our flight was due to depart, it was canceled. The second day we thought we would go to the Sepik on this plane, but it was down for maintenance.
But we got to see the new hangar!
So we went back to Lapilo and we waited.
And waited...
and waited...
and waited...
and waited...
Finally at 2 pm we got to fly!
The Sepik river
Getting ready to land in Wewak.
Soon after we arrived, Jacob was checking out the gate opener and trying to fix it. He installed it many years ago.
We made it to the market where we uesd to go every Saturday. It was quite the cultural experience!
We got to stay in High Seas Haven, the apartment underneath our old house!
