Transformations

Our guest house hallway is being transformed. We have a vision for our guesthouse to be a welcoming place that reminds guests of how God is transforming them day by day. Lea, a short term missionary from Germany, is very talented!

Each room has a theme. Trusting God to complete his work, even when things don't seem so good.

It was a big job but God brought just the right people for just the right time to get the job done! We had professional painters come to paint the hallway!

Room three is faith. Because God will transform us into his image through our faith in Him.

Here is Lea working on room number four. This whole project was really her vision and we are so grateful for her perseverance and work!

It is good to remind ourselves of the promise of Hope and Peace. Transformation from a sinner to a saint is not humanly possible. God takes us through beautiful heights and terrible valleys as he transforms us. But through it all he provides hope and peace through knowledge of him.

And as we are being transformed, the joy of the Lord is our strength.

It is our prayer that our guests find renewed joy in the Lord as they visit our guesthouse.

We also had a guest who volunteered to transform our chair. From something old and comfortable, to something new nice and even more comfortable! Thank God for such amazing guests.

And this new place that Jacob has to organize his tools used to be a old couch frame. God gave us money to buy a new couch for Christmas! So this 30 year old couch had another use. :)

Our new futon couch! :)
