The Cement/Drain Project

It all started with digging... because the water was going into all the apartments. Jonathan and Linda had a great time helping with the digging process.

Home made drain pipe...PVC Pipe with holes drilled into it. The kids loved to pretend they were helping!

Finding crushed stone in a third world country is exhausting! It was quite a miracle actually that Jacob found this for his drain project.

Phase two of the Drain project - building a wall to redirect the rain water away from the building.

The cement pouring begins!

They were pouring the cement right next to our house... directly in front of the window of the kids room!

Finishing touches... Jonathan loves to help!

Next cement pour... prep

Cutting wire to strengthen the concrete.

And when it started to rain we had to go out to see if it was working... and it was!
