Sepik Conference begins...

A couple weeks before conference starts the bush missionaries start flying out to Wewak for the conference. Some come out for a break or to buy supplies. Jonathan was quite excited to have some of his friends here to play with... and now he has learned how to climb this tree. :)

Naomi was happy to see new toys for kids to play with... and I just love her curls...

I had to show you another picture of her curly head. :) Oh and she did have a great time at Kids Conference playing with all the 0-3 year olds. :) The first day was a bit rough but she got used to it and loved it! So thankful!

Our slide broke but Jacob used part of an old water tank to build a new one... and the kids love it!!

We really enjoyed conference as we got to know more of the missionaries here in the Sepik. And we got to listen to some very encouraging teaching from the Word to spur us on as we work together as a body to plant churches in PNG. It is a privilege to be a part of what God is doing here!

The first night of conference we all made pizzas and brought them to the conference hall to eat together... Naomi was enjoying the pizza making party and doing a great job. Unfortunately as soon as I got my camera she got the idea in her head that she wanted to eat the cheese off the pizza and she was not happy when we told her she coudln't do that. :)

There was also a Kids Carnival one afternoon which Jonathan loved! They even had face painting! :)
 Kids Volleyball!

 Water slide!

Making a game for Kids Carnival.

They had to try to pull the ball all the way up the board without it dropping through the holes. It was a hit and now every year they will keep track of the fastest times. :)

 More Kids conference games!

Jonathan and his friend Paxton who just happen to have the same shirt... both batman and superhero fans!

One night Jacob helped grill the steaks for dinner, yum!

Setting up the tables for dinner.

 Time to eat!
