We enjoy having friends over for dinner once in a while! I love making yummy food for everyone and everyone seems to love eating it! Mike and Ruth from the mission organization Friends in Action, just down the road, came over for Canadian Thanksgiving! And here we are enjoying apple pie!
All is quiet before dinner as the children watch a little tv. Naomi seems to like it too!
Jonathan is always prepared with a sword hiding in the back of his shirt. :)
A friend gave Jonathan a "new" train seat... a very large one!!

In just one week we had two different coworker families give us LOTS and LOTS of used books!! FUN!
Having fun with word building... Jonathan is saying, "Pyramid!" It is fun to teach Jonathan how to read!
Naomi is trying out her first pair of shoes for walking... pretty sandals, which she loves!
More fun with word building! Did you know that a maple fish produces maple syrup? According to Jonathan that is... I told him we needed one of those fish here!
Naomi has her own play remote control which she uses to try to turn on the tv. :)
Jonathan got a new sweatshirt from a friend, a fun hand me down! The next day we went to Goroka for break, which is in the 'cold' mountains, so he got a lot of use out of this sweatshirt!
