Random Evening Activites

 Jacob trying to take a picture but was shocked and confused to see himself in the camera when he turned it on. :) Needless to say he has never taken a "selfie" before. :)

But he was trying to take a picture of me surrounded by clean laundry as I attempted to fold it all.... there is always lots when I wash diapers every other day!

 So thankful for such a loving and hardworking man who takes the time to learn how to cut my hair! He did a great job!

Awaiting Dad's Return from Work...

 Jonathan loves his boomerang!

 Jacob is always greeted by his dogs when he gets home from work.

Naomi turns 8 months old on a cold and rainy day...

 "Cold" days here in Wewak get down to 76 degrees F. And then Jonathan puts on a sweatshirt and Naomi puts on her capris or pants. :)

 The boys are playing Nintendo while we hang out in the house.

 And Jonathan is learning his alphabet, putting the letters in order, recognizing letters and sounds and sounding out words! And spelling and reading a few words too!

 Here Naomi is so tired because she decided to cry during her naps instead of sleep... and she wonders why she has to go outside to play! :)

 But she perked up when she got to ride the horse. :)

Jonathan loves riding this little training bike. And soon he will have his own big boy bike because he and Jacob will fix up his 'new' bike. :)

  Enjoyed a relaxing day at home even though it was hot! And now the kids are in bed so we can relax even more!

Rebuidling the truck bed..

 Due to the salt air around us, everything rusts fast... our 4 year old Hino truck needed a new truck bed.

 There was lots of grinding and sanding and painting involved.

 Unfortunately the rain set back the plans and the painting had to wait.

And now it is done and the paint is drying!

Helping out our workers

 After cutting down a tree, Jacob and Willi took it to Willi's friends for firewood.

 They were quite excited to get a four wheeler ride and get the wood.

Jacob and Bill built this cupboard/lockers for our security workers. Each of them have their own place to store things they might need at work.
