Christmas Decorating!

Nannie and Poppie sent a playlet... a nativity scene. So fun for the kids!!

 And an Advent calendar too!

The mystery of Christmas decorations, what could these be??

We enjoyed a new tree this year, as our other tree was at least 15 year old maybe more and it was starting to fall apart!!

Jonathan had a break from Christmas decorating to color his new box/castle. :)

I guess she thought they were socks, not stockings for presents!! :)

Putting Christmas ornaments on the tree.

I love our home decorated for Christmas!!

Workers Christmas Party

Every year a couple weeks before Christmas, we enjoy having a Christmas party and invite all our workers and their families. It is a grand event with speeches, cake, ice cream, water slide and volleyball!

This year, the community even gave us a painting as a thank you for all that we have done for them.

The cakes are ready and waiting and so is Jonathan!

Black plastic, sand bags, water hose and dish soap make a great water slide for all the kids!

This year I even got to go because Naomi wanted to go and Jacob couldn't take her because his leg is still healing. So I got to experience the fun as well!

Jonathan was the fastest person from the bottom of the water slide to the top for another ride down!!

I think Naomi liked the water slide!!

Jonathan couldn't get enough of it!

Naomi with one of our security guard's daughters, around the same ages.

Rosie, Philip, Rex.... Rosie helps us in our home two times a week so that I am freed up to do more homeschooling, partnership development and help out a little bit in the business office. Rex is her husband on the right. And Philip is almost 2 years old, a little younger than Naomi!

Willi and Lillian and their children, Reggie, Talia, Laken and Willi Junior... Willi works with Jacob every day in the workshop and around the centre. We are so excited to know that Willi is now a brother in Christ!!

Finally heading back to Wewak!!

Jacob was very very excited to finally get back to Wewak after being gone for 3 months!!

We were all very excited!!

Leaving the mountains

We saw an Air Niugini plane when we landed in Madang... a quick stop before heading to Wewak.

Taking off from Madang to finally head to Wewak!

We are almost there!!

Just a few more minutes!

Landed in WEWAK!!

Jacob is happy to finally be back in Wewak and back to work, helping unload the plane!!

While we waited for the guys to unload the airplane, the kids sat randomly around the hanger waiting.... which I found very funny!

More of life in Goroka...

Learning to write his cousins name!

Watching dad play video games!

Graduating to a new exercise machine!

Naomi's new bike!

Clay art!

I was able to work on my quilt repair in the Highlands, where I actually wanted to be under a quilt in the evenings. I made a lot of progress! It is almost done!!

Fun in the sand box!

We also got to go to the Christmas Festival while we were at the NTM Centre in the Highlands! We enjoyed the Christmas music, food and buying each other gifts. :)

It was a large event with many people selling and buying!

Naomi bought Miss Hope, our co-worker, a little pig for Christmas. :)

Amazed by the lunch mom was going to put in the oven for Sunday Dinner!

We rarely get nice avocados like this one... but we did today! Yum!

Helping dad with the dishes, it is just the beginning!
