A Visit up North

 

While here in Ontario, we ventured 8 hours north to see our friend, Tracey, who worked in PNG for 25 years. Along the drive we found parks...

 

And fields to practice Tang Soo Do..

 

and playgrounds

 

And lakes with beautiful beaches

 

We had a great time with Tracey and her parents. Tracey ran the guesthouse for us when we were on our last Home Assignment 5 years ago! It was fun to catch up!

 

We also go to see the Sault Ste Marie Locks work... how does a boat go from one great lake to another? Well we saw how it works. Quite amazing!

 

The boat goes into the lock and then the water starts pouring in.

 

Until the lock is full!

 

Then it sails out the other side to the other lake.

 

We also played some ladder ball, the first time for many of us.

 

We also played washer throw too.

 

We enjoyed meeting Tracey's parents and all hanging out together!
