More Wewak Friends!

Silas and Linda and their family lived next door to us in Wewak for 6 months! Our kids are around the same ages and love to play together. We love it when they come to visit Lapilo for their break!

Food and Friends!

Nate had us over for dinner... grilled Fish topped with pesto, sweet potato, carrots and zucchini. Yum!

Larabars.... delicous! But we have no more. Anyone want to send us some? :)

Cauliflower... a rare find. So good, especially made into cauliflower rice.

Town Trip!

Heading to town for the first time since March!! We were very excited to shop and eat out and go swimming!

We even found a new coffee shop that had opened!

This is what happens when you push the ball under the water and let it go.

A new game... who can shoot water at the ball and get it to the other side of the pool first??

They had a great day... but at the end they were quite tired. :)

We got a new duvet for this cool European duvet cover that we just bought. Now it is so easy to make the bed!

We also found this amazing costume at a second hand store!

Building a Water Tank & More Cement!

The 1st water tank going up.

The foundation forms for the 2nd water tank. It is twice as big as the first one!!

The 2nd foundation the guys used almost 300 bags of cement!

It is very difficult to keep the cement from drying too fast here in the tropics. But sheets soaked with water help keep the cement from drying too fast and cracking or weakening.

We had some expert sprayers on the job!

Replacing Porch Supports

Superman got to help hold up the old supports to put new ones in. :)

Happy Independence Day!

 Happy Independence Day from the Americans in our family!

We celebrated "Country Day" with all our co-workers on centre. Everyone came wearing his or her own countries colors and shirts, etc. And we had a great picnic, water slide day with games too. We get to celebrate two countries in our family!

This was the only time Naomi went down the water slide. She had a great time!

She got in a really long line to go down again. But when she got to the front of the line, she ran away.

Then she got to help hold the hose!

 And hang out and watch with Miss Stacy!
