Happy Birthday to Nate!

 The kids were busy in the morning making cards for Nate. So cute!

 I attempted a blueberry cake that sank big time. It was gluten free, sugar free and dairy free...

 but it did taste soooo good! Jacob and I didn't mind having two cakes. :)

Jonathan's Class & Reading Festival

 Jonathan's 1st grade class all dressed up for Australian Day, as they were learning about Australia this term.

 Reading Festival began! And Jonathan read like crazy! His reading skills jumped up leaps and bounds in those two weeks!!

Happy 7th Birthday to Jonathan!!

 Last year we were here in Goroka without Jacob on Jonathan's birthday because Naomi broke her leg. So we didn't celebrate on Feb 2nd, we didn't have a party until 2 weeks later! This year we made up for that with 3 parties! :) 

 Birthday morning presents! :)

 Naomi and I enjoyed making a delicious and nutrition cake made from sweet potato, coconut, cocoa powder and eggs, etc. The frosting is made from a sweet potato, avocados, dates and cocoa powder too!

 And delicious and nutritious pumpkin cookies too! :)

Skate Night Fun!

 The theme for Skate Night was Circus! So we have face painting...

 to be a clown. The costume was all Jonathan's idea... mom's capris, dad's shirt, Naomi's flower and face paint! So fun!
