Homeschool continues...

Art - making daggers out of 10 pieces of paper. :) the Art of folding paper!

Trips to the local library are always fun!

Naomi and I are learning about the Turtle - T for Turtle

D for Dinosaurs!

More crafts... winter is fun with snowmen in America... none in PNG!

Painting!

Writing... Jonathan is very creative! We just need to figure out how to get him to enjoy writing it down!

Math, on the other hand, is a bit easier... except for those times tables... those need to get stuck into his head! Appreciate prayers for wisdom to teach in a way that is helpful for Jonathan to learn and be prepared for 4th grade in PNG!

Art - Thank you Aunt Ruth for the cool book!

Visits, Fun, Food & Games

We enjoyed having Albert and Virginia over for dinner, a couple from our church and missions committee who takes care of us, encouraging and keeping up with us here and in PNG!

The usual visit with Grandma... showing her things and hanging out doing things with her on her chair. I don't think they will fit on the chair next time we return from PNG in 4 years!!

Ninja Naomi!

Hmm.... blueberries on fried rice... not something I would think of...

A fun play tatoo... and Naomi loved it!

A supporter gave us a few games! And LIFE was always a favorite of mine growing up. Jonathan says, I love LIFE, you never know what is going to happen next! :)

Happy 9th Birthday Jonathan!

I love it that Jonathan gets soooo excited!

I made chocolate cake, GF and sweetened with Coconut sugar! Yum!

And berry ice cream! Yum!!

We celebrated again at Grandma and Grandpas house the next day! :)

He was very excited to get a magic kit! And now does tricks for us all!

Aunt Ruth sent a package soon after Jonathan's birthday... a little something for everyone! :)

A Patriots hand towel and a little cute apron for my dish soap bottle. :)

Trip to CT

Jonathan was sooo excited to have his very own suitcase and packed it all himself for our 2 days in CT!

Good times with Gene and Jean! Family friends from childhood.

More good times visiting Maria... she taught me in Pioneer Girls when I was in elementary school!

Stopping in to see Maria at work... and we found a dog and lots of furniture!

On to visiting family in CT, cousins and uncles and aunts!

2nd cousins!

Cousins!

A massive Home Depot was right along the way home... so we had to stop in to get Jacob a new drill!

Visiting Pastor Kevin and Susan... former pastor of a supporter church in MA.
