Heading from MA to Nova Scotia life...

 

Driving down the road to my parents house... so beautiful in the winter... heading back after picking up the rental car so we can get us and all our stuff to the airport!

They are just a tad bit excited about going to Canada to see Nannie and Poppie!

And I am excited to drive a nice car! AND see family in Nova Scotia!

The kids helped me while Jacob returned the rental car! 😁

It was a rough trip... as you can tell from the huge dent in my metal water bottle.... a flight to Toronto, an overnight, a flight to Halifax and a 2.5 hour drive to our new home.... lots of waiting, masks and questions... 

New experience.... subway ride!!

OUR NEW HOME for our 2 week quarantine AND our 6 months in Canada!

Jacob's parents had Christmas still up for us on Jan 18th!!

Time has flown...

 

Four years ago... at age 3, Jonathan LOVED this fireman hat!!

Now at 7 years old... the hat was found in storage AND it still fits him!! AND he still loved it!!

Shopping!

 

A quick trip to IKEA and culture shock continues! SO many things to see!!

We are researching beds so that we can ship one back to PNG for us... anyone have any advice for a great bed to ship to PNG?

They are great models for advertising products. 😀

Hmmm... I think the 4 years in storage was not good for my boots.... so I had to buy new ones... thankfully, I found some that are similar, because these are so comfortable!!

Home with Grandma and Grandpa!

 

I'm so thankful for my dad who keeps this fire going all day and most of the night! We are staying warm in this very very cold place!!

I told Jonathan I needed a picture of him in his batman shirt to send to Aunt Ruth, because the shirt used to belong to his cousin... a few years ago!!

The Computer is in the repair shop... so Jacob has begun working on our PNG presentation with paper and pen! 😃

Ready for Church... I'm so thankful for a family in one of our supporting churches who left a tote of girl clothes and a tote of boy clothes at my parents house for us. They had winter coats, boots and lots of long sleeve clothes and pants as soon as we arrived!!
