Jacob and I have been to the top of Mt Greylock a few times since we have been together in North America. Once we got to hike a couple hours up and back down again. A few other times we just went to enjoy the view. And one of those times Jacob proposed to me. :) August 17 was the exciting day!

Jacob and I have enjoyed sharing at many churches and a Christian School together. We can't wait to get back to Papua New Guinea! The kids really loved being dressed up like PNG people. :)

I really enjoyed the Bridal Shower that my mom threw for me! It was so fun to see everyone that came and hear their encouraging words! And there was lots of yummy food!
Mike, Heike, me, Lina, Simon, Chris, Rich, Michael and Friedy... we were all in Papua New Guinea at some point in the last few years. We took a walk to the top of the hill through the vineyard and had some fun with Mike's camera at the top.
We had a great time together talking and laughing about our times in Papua New Guinea... looking at pictures, eating lots and lots of yummy German food and hanging out! It was so neat to hear all that God has done in their lives since leaving PNG! And so exciting to know that He is still at work in all of our lives, shaping us into the person He wants us to be so that we can bring more glory to Him as we walk with Him each day.

Mike, Rich and I had another yummy German breakfast with Matthias and Veronika. I really enjoyed our visit! Matthias was one of the first German guys to come to PNG for a year in 2003. And now he is married with a little one!

My Family for one year is slowly moving away. :(
Laura (Assistant Chef) , Me (consultant and trainer), Nate (Chef) ... we are all having fun working together! It is amazing to me how God works... the perfect planner... enabling two skilled people in the culinary world to desire to serve God here in PNG! And in 2 weeks I will be headed home, confident that God will continue to enable Nate and Laura in their ministry here in the Kitchen.
