Jonathan now makes pancakes on Saturday mornings, some times.

Sometimes we can find delicious oranges growing on the trees on our center.

I tried to make zucchini noodles, actually very good! Air fryer or pan, doesn't matter, delicious either way!

And we found whole wheat spaghetti for the kids!

School start... spiders...

 

It's hard to believe that Jonathan started 7th grade this year and Naomi started 3rd grade!

It was also hard to believe that this HUGE spider was hiding in the corner of our bathroom.

Dress up day - Celebration of Papua New Guinea's Independence - 50 years!!

Jonathan is taking a class in Pidgin English this year at school.... as a final project they set up a typical PNG market to sell things to our community.

Jonathan also has the opportunity to rent a flute from the school and take online lessons... We did have one guest who is a excellent flutist so he had 2 in person lessons recently.

The elementary school had an assembly at the end of term and Naomi's class did a presentation for the parents of a few things they have learned.

I started a new Bible study, an overview of God's character, led by a friend, Summer.

PNG Independence Day Celebration

 

This year PNG celebrated 50 years of Independence. We invited our workers and their families to have fun playing games with us to celebrate.

Jacob helped oversee a bow and arrow competition where the winner won a baby pig.

                    Food cooked over a fire while inside bamboo. a unique, tasty PNG meal !
