Happy Thanksgiving!

We have to wait until Saturday to celebrate... as Thursday is just another day here in PNG. We enjoyed having some people for Thanksgiving dinner at the Guesthouse from American, Germany and Switzerland!

Everyone brought some delicious food to share!

We even got to watch some football!

The kids were enthralled with the new books!

It was cool to be able to have everyone join us! 44 in all... a record for us in the guesthouse!

We ended our evening with our usual Saturday night campfire with neighbors and friends.

Work Trip to POM

Jacob was excited to have Jonny arrive from Germany to help him get this back up water system installed at the NTM Centre in POM, the capital city.

Jacob also got to see the dog he trained and do a bit more training.

Unfortunately their trip was longer than planned due to two days of canceled flights. But they enjoyed going out to restaurant for a couple meals. This is not something you can do much in Goroka.

After their flight was canceled again... but so thankful for Jonny, a German friend, who was at Interface with us 12 years ago. So good have him back in PNG using his engineering know-how in POM. But the main reason he came was to help build the new Aviation hangar.

They had two days of waiting with many other people in the airport!

And then they finally made it on the plane, heading to Goroka!!

Crazy Hair Day and Friend Time

I'm thankful that Jonathan and Naomi are friends and enjoy playing together and helping each other. Jonathan grew out of this shirt and had another one stored away, so he gave his smaller shirt to Naomi.

Piku, Wendy and Beth came to visit me, friends from Interface. :)

Friday Night... no guests... and dad is away... so Jonathan's friends came to eat burgers. :)

Dinner at Summer's house with Rachel, Elizabeth, Maggie, and Shara

Meanwhile back in MA, Jacob's parents met up with my parents for breakfast, as they were driving down to FL to work with Ethnos360.
